What is NEET Full Form?

NEET is called "National Eligibility Entrance Test". Which is called "National Eligibility Entrance Test" in Hindi.

NEET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Under which the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) is the entrance examination for MBBS and BDS in Indian Medical and Dental Colleges.

The exam that offers 90,000 seats in MBBS and BDS colleges in India is conducted every year in the month of May. This exam was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The candidate who wants to study medical courses must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology as compulsory subjects in class 10th and 12th.

The candidate has to show his/her passing certificate at the time of counseling round.

NTA also conducts NEET Post-Graduation (NEET-PG), an eligibility-cum-ranking test prescribed as a single entrance test for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma courses.

NEET exam is conducted in 11 languages including English, Hindi, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Marathi, Urdu Bengali, Telugu, Kannada and Assamese.

In NEET exam, a candidate has to answer 180 questions in three hours.

NEET exam paper consists of three sections - Physics, Chemistry and Biology (including Botany and Zoology).

After the declaration of NEET exam result, NTA also announces the counseling process.

The schedule of NEET counseling gets uploaded on the website of Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
